BlissBorn Childbirth Classes

with Barbara Harper

Your experience at Bliss Birth Center extends far beyond the birth itself. The Bliss Birth Experience also includes BlissBorn® childbirth education classes with world-renowned educator Barbara Harper and her team, empowering you with the knowledge, preparation, and confidence to step into your birth ready to embrace your Bliss Birth experience.

The BlissBorn classes are included in the Bliss Birth Experience package (ie the cost of birthing with us).

BlissBorn is a complete child birth education class that includes self-hypnosis for labor and birth. It’s proven to shorten labor, reduce pain, reduce bleeding, speed recovery, and reduce post-partum depression.

INVESTMENT: $550

The price includes 5-sessions, easy-to-digest 246-page manual (with the latest studies), flash drive, useful handouts, and temporary tattoos.

Breast Feeding Class

with Nikki Lee, RN, MS, ANLC, IBCLC

In this class, you will learn the many benefits of breast/chest feeding for both mom and baby, breastfeeding positions, feeding cues, as well as your baby’s needs as they grow. You will be provided with valuable resources for the challenges that may arise when breast feeding.

Nikki Lee

After a life spent in New York, Maryland and Pennsylvania, I have relocated to Madison, Tennessee to be near family.

As an intensive care nurse, I planned to return to work 6 weeks after the birth of my first daughter, as I believed that I would be bored at home with a baby. No one told me that I would fall in love, and that my life would change completely. 47 years after that baby was born, I am as dedicated and passionate about natural birth and breastfeeding as ever. I look forward to more decades of sharing the joy of serving babies and their families.

Starting in 1971 as a LPN, I’ve worked in childbirth education and doula programs, clinics, homes, city and county health departments, hospitals, intensive care units, medical schools, and universities. I’ve worked in person and virtually. I have taught childbirth educators, dieticians, doulas, medical students and physicians, nurses and nursing students, midwives, social workers and therapists (OT, SLP, and RT).

I am a nurse, a lactation consultant, a bodyworker, a public speaker, an author and a teacher. I use aromatherapy, craniosacral therapy, homeopathy, integrative positional therapy and yoga in my work.

I have published 2 books: Complementary and Alternative Medicine in Breastfeeding Therapy, and Breastfeeding: An Owner’s Manual 2nd ed.
